Upstairs Downstairs came to us with a design that they wanted, but were unable to create this as a website themselves as they wanted to develop an online store to run in tandem with their forthcoming new high street store in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
As the new store isn't due for completion until 2006, their design was created as an XHTML template and a simple content managment system was developed for this phase to allow them to update information and add news about the store.
The online ordering system is being developed over the coming months so it launches in time for the opening of the new store.
our site is cross-browser compatible, accessible to users and search engines and we have tested in internet explorer 6, mozilla firefox, safari, netscape 7 and opera browsers for w3c standards compliance.
